Article of the Day #AOTD : LMCW1022 Public Lectures

Every one of UKM’s first-year students must undertake one course under Pusat Citra, LMCW1022 Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. For this course, the students attend a public lecture which is normally given by owners of companies or top management within the public and private sector. 

This year, the Public lecture is conducted 2 times. The first session was conducted by Dr. Irma Shida Abu Samah, alumni of UKM, Director of Irma Ariandi Enterprise and Irma Ariandi Global Sdn Bhd.

The second Public Lecture held in April was special as we invited Adam Brimo for many reasons:
  • He is an icon of innovative teaching and learning industry. 
  • He is listed in Forbes’s 30 under 30 Asia 2017 for the category of Consumer Technology. 
  • He is a CEO under the CEO Faculty Programme, one of the most active. 
  • He is very successful and very young, thus the generation gap between Adam and the main audience today is not very wide.
